I'm applying for the circuit racing, if that doesnt work out then I'll probably do the static display.

I know 5 people will have applied for the circuit racing./ one provisional for display. If the display stand doesn,t happen we will try and set up a base in the pits, if that is possible.

I gather those of us up for display dont have to fill out the form.

From what I gathered the organisers - Mondello Park - will be selecting the teams from the entrants - based on HP and other equalizing criterea. What this means is that we may not be together in one team, and we can enter as many of our members as we like. Obviously the more that enter will mean more representation for the club, but some cars may not be selected if there are too many entrants overall. Still worth a shot - there aren't many events that are free to competitors.

I didnt hear anything as yet But think positive

THE ORGANISERS HAVE MADE NO DECISIONS YET.
IN MY OPINION IT IS UNLIKELY THAT THE ORGANISERS WILL HAVE A STATIC DISPLAY FROM THE CLUB. WE HAVE NOT GOT ADEQUATE NUMBERS.
AS FAR AS THE CIRCUIT RACING ALL PARTIES WILL BE CONTACTED DIRECTLY BY THE ORGANISERS.
I WILL FOLLOW UP AND WILL PUT A NOTE ON THE FORUM IN DUE COURSE.

How is the car going peter did you get it fixed

It is now being held on the 26th to 28th NOVEMBER.

The new event organiser has contacted me and asked if we would like to supply any cars for the dream drive section of the event. This is run for charity where the public pay for a passenger spin in a car of their choice. This year it is in aid of www.3ts.ie the Irish suicide charity. If anyone is interested please reply of contact me.
