Hi Michael - I should be heading down that way Sunday morning - do you want to meet? I am supposed to be going in the Seven but time is tight as they say - I'll do everything I can to get it ready to roll but I may have to travel in the tin-top...but I'll be there!

Someone check with Martin if he has booked the area for Kit car club stand
I think this was €400 but if all entries already paid come off this we have our own pitch in the show area. The stand included 20 car spots, club tent area and three support vehicles. Makes sense to promote the club at this first Festival of Speed and secure future slot for the club that we may not get next year if it is a roaring success. We dont want to be stuck among a mix of cars in a row that happens at shows like this, even in the Vip PARKING area, eg. Terenure

I doubt if IKCC have already paid- here's their response:

"Hi Brian,
Since you guys have already bought tickets, if you can get a list of the cars attending into me and the understanding that you will all arrive in convoy, we should be able to squeeze you all into the car club area alongside AlfaOwner.com, BMW-Driver.net, RS Owners, etc.
Would this be something the club would be interested in? If so, I will need final details by Thursday at the very latest.
Best regards,

Jonathan"

 Its not a massive response on here, so rather than ending up with just 3 or 4 cars showing up, personally I'm happy to go in the VIP parking. UNLESS WE CAN COME UP WITH FIRM NUMBERS- ie reply to me with this string and add your car and name to it, if you want- and I'll let them know (or the new events organiser at IKCC can do)- cheers:

2/ Shesley T2- Michael Norman
3/ SA Locost- Alistair Morish
4/ Pilgrim Sumo Cobra- Peter Summers
5/ Raw Striker- Michael Rooney

It was decided that this is not an IKCC Event. The price we were quoted was 400euro for a club stand. It was also stated that we needed to provide our own Insurance for the Stand too. As the take up of numbers was slow it was decided not to proceed.

What ever happens on the day it will be down to individual members to organise themselves.

Hopefully next year things can be organised further ahead of time!

Well, looks like its the VIP car park.
However, if we could confirm numbers based on the list to date it would make more sense, as long as the club dont incurr any costs.
Others cars definitely attending.

Martin MK
Pat MK
John P4
Gerry AC cobra
We will meet with you all at the adare heritage centre

I live 15 mins from Adare, and this is the first I know about this event. See you there.

That said I won't be in my Tiger :( It's kinda in bits at the mo.. I'm sure you know what happened. "I'll just take that off and clean it up, Ohh, the other side needs doing now..."

I would offer secure parking and a garden to camp in, but too late I guess :)
