Just spoke to Paula from Dunboyne Motor Club and she confirmed that we have our "Kitcar club Grid" on Sunday 4th September. She is also trying to get us our own parking area in the village itself so we can display our cars before and after the laps. The village will be closed to public traffic during the event unlike other years so spectators numbers should be high especially if the weather is good. Now for even better news, because we have a good commited turnout they have reduced our entry fee further to €20 per car. Any more of you thinking about attending please reply to this post/e-mail or call/text me on the number below.

The current list is as follows:

John Adam: Ferrari 330P4 (IDJC show winner twice)
Jan Adam: Moss Malvern
Kevin McGuinness: RS200
John Woodward: Caterham R500 (will be by 4th Sept)
Phil O'Brien: GTM Libra
Larry Hogan: Caterham greeny thing with onboard camera!
Danny Porteous: GD427 MK4 Cobra (IDJC show winner)
Martin Kearns: GBS 7
Michael Norman: Shesley T2
Richie Dolan: MK Indy
Peter Summers: Pilgrim Sumo
Alistair Morish: SA locost 7
David Maes: Robin Hood
Liam O'Reilly: Westfield
Simon Bell: Caterham 7 Duratec R
Martin Connolly: MK Indy
Pat Langton: MK Indy
Paddy Somers: Dax Tojeiro Cobra
Gerry Fahy: AK 427 Cobra

Lets try and get over 30 cars out for a good blast!!

The press launch last Friday turned out to be like a "Mini Spirit of Dunboyne". About 20 cars turned up with loads of the public in attendance on a busy weekend evening. The organisers put on a great spread of food and it felt like a summer party with bunting, banners and good warm weather. Everyone hung around until after 9.00pm chatting about cars etc. We also have secured our own pit/paddock area for the event on Sunday 4th September. For those of you who have been there before it is the original bike paddock from previous years.

Here are a few pics with the first a general shot of the participants.
Image

A shot of our own members John "R500" Woodward and Kevin "Mr World Motorsport" McGuinness and their cars.

We have already got 24 cars listed below for our laps of the circuit on the day, so those of you still to confirm GET THE FINGER OUT!!!

Congrats on the sale Phil...hopefully the car will not be left sitting unused in someone's garage! :?
