The Club calendar Page is now up and running. Click on "Calendar" on the banner to go directly.

If anyone has a show/event in mind which they think the club should attend then please let me know and we'll add it to the calendar.

I know the SHOW year is almost over but we will be preparing next years calendar around november, so make sure your event doesn't clash with another!

I've entered some show/event details for the coming months in 2008 into the Club Online Calendar.

There are still many events to be entered, but I am still waiting on confirmation of dates!

If anyone has something they would like entered then let me know.

Click on "Calendar" in the top banner to go directly to the Calendar Page.

John

Noticed a gap in the calendar in July ? has anyone considered the Mountbellew Show in Co Galway? This is a great show and the guys who organized it are very good. Last year when it was flooded they reorganized it at the last minute on a hard surface.

The show is on Sunday 27th July but cars are welcome on the Saturday where there is a line up in the main street and a dinner. The guys can sort out B&B?s as well. There?s a lunch on the Sunday as well. Last year there was about 300 cars.

Excellent Danny...we are looking for shows in the west and south to attend this year in order to try and take the club outside of leinster.

Mr. Chairman, are you listening?

Can you get some contact details Danny for the show? :D

Indeed,

Sounds like a good candadite for the show in the West.

We are looking at all options at the moment and will make a decision about which shows we will be attending on the 9th March at our next committee meeting.

All planned activities for the summer will be shown in the April Newsletter.

-Gary

Mike the calendar's contents are part of the main database and was offline for a few days these week when i was re-installing the database to the new server.

All should be fine now.

You may want to delete your stored bookmarks and add them again because of the domain change.

Don’t know if you guys know the Phoenix Park races have been cancelled for this year – it’s a real shame as it was a great day last year despite the mud! :(

Could we not maintain the date, bring all the kit cars at the phoenix park for the day, make not a race but a tour on the last year circuit ?
after all, its legal to do it no ?
and if we manage to have some journalist, that will give us a some publicity for free ;)

[quote="emmanuel"]a tour on the last year circuit ?

Its impossible to drive around the Circuit during normal days...they have bollards in place on two of the roads making them cul-de-sacs!

But a meet in the Park on that day would be a good idea. Maybe a Club Open Day...bit of a BBQ and a run through the city afterwards? :D

I believe the OPW put a stop to it this year after the place was left in a bad way after the rains last year. (anyone that was there will know what I am talking about)
