Just checked out flights, Sat is running between 80 -100 euro and the Sun is about 150 - 170 euros. Hmmmmm............... Will have to have a think about it.

what about a cheap ferry 1 car - number of people 9either in car deal or as foot passengers and load up afterwards

If any one is interested in making a weekend of it, you can fly into Exeter international direct from Dublin on the 15th departing @ 1200 & returning on the 16th departing @ 1910, cost is about €108 (inc taxes) with flybe.
