The next event is 'The Kilbeggan Show' on Sun 6th September where we can arrive on Saturday and camp overnight. Joe and his team will again provide us with a barbecue, music and also this year new additions are a burnout competition and a drive in movie all on the Sat evening. The Club tents will be in position and our area set out by lunchtime Saturday. Our good friends “The Ulster Kitcar Club are arriving on Saturday for their annual Whiskey tasting session so anyone who plans to stay get plenty of rest during the week. Last year we had 39 cars on the stand so I will be looking to top that this time.

Let me know if you can attend as we are having our own barbecue at Sunday lunchtime and need to organize food. It was a super event last year and this time looks even better. See you all there.

Looks like the weather is to be good for the week-end. Hope everybody enjoys the show. We will not be able to attend as we'll be on holidays. Can I suggest that people bring their own cup if they want tea/coffee over the week-end.

A slightly annoyed Damo here

I booked tonight and tomorrow off work about 6 weeks ago and was told it'd be no problem. I didn't get tomorrow off on the pretence that I should be able to swop with the "lots of people" who aren't working. Sadly, all those people aren't available.....and we are actuallty short 3 staff for tomorrow.

This means that I'd been told to put up and shut up and work and thats the end of it. This is a major pain in the hole.

hope you all have a great weekend....think of old Damo stuck in a poxy dark studio all weekend...when he should be stumbling around a field, out of the game, semi naked, cold and confused. (maybe it's best I can't go actually :D )

ciao ciao for now!
